Update: The steel pre-fabricated Puerto Fly-Over was fully functional, operational and formally opened last September 21, 2011. The said duly completed fly-over project was inaugurated by the City Local Officials. Among with the other City Officials, the inauguration was spearheaded by DPWH Secretary Rogelio L.Singson, Congressman Rufus B. Rodriguez of Second Congressional district of Cagayan de Oro City.

The Puerto Fly-over is located at the Butuan-Cagayan de Oro-Bukidnon Junction road, with two lanes on opposite direction, for Cagayan de Oro-Butuan route only. The 363 Million pesos is worthy enough for convenience and comfort in traveling to this route.

En Route to Butuan City

Fly-overs are the immediate solution in vehicular traffic decongestion. Bulk of travelers from Bukidnon and Butuan City worsen the vehicular traffic within this vicinity. To lessen the bulk of vehicular traffic, the vehicles plying to East-West route or CDO-Butuan route should be diverted, thus, this project was conceptualized.

As Bukidnon Travelers, we can now feel the easing up of vehicular traffic especially when you are approaching this junction road. So, congratulations to the prime movers of Cagayan de Oro City, especially the City Planning and Development Office, who is the Architect of this new development, in coming up with this brilliant vehicular traffic solution---the Fly-over.

Underneath the fly-over in going to Cagayan de Oro City
