The Proposed Contruction of New City Hall of Malaybalay, ground breaking

Malaybalay City Government breaks ground today, September 22, 2014, to start the proposed construction of the P180 million New City Hall Building, on a 10-hectare area in Casisang, fronting Carmenville, National highway in Malaybalay City.
The groundbreaking was led by the City Mayor himself, Mayor Ignacio "Iñaki" Zubiri and assisted by the Vice Mayor Roland "Bong" Deticio. Prominent figures, such as Atty. Albert Lagamon, Provincial Board Member,  were also there witnessing the said memorable event of Malaybalay City.

Mayor Zubiri, stressed out that, “This is what we worked hard for with unity and understanding as a symbol of our city’s progress after a long wait since we have prioritized barangay development projects in the past years,” He said. 

"Pamuhat" or rituals was led by Bae Inatlawan, with other tribal leaders who also graced the event.

The proposed site development that looks like the "startrek" ship. The 2.50 storey City Hall building and the whole project is estimated to be completed within 18 months.
